Frequency Asked Questions:
How long are the trail rides and how much are they?
The trail rides are an hour long and are $70 a person.
Do you accept walk ins?
We are exclusively reservation based and only accept reservations made over the phone.
What if I have never ridden a horse before?
Totally fine! Our rides are just a walking pace and our horses do 99% of the work for you!
Are helmets provided and/or required?
We provide the helmets and are completely optional for those over the age of 18, but are required for those under the age of 18! If you have a RIDING helmet of your own you would like to bring feel free! We do not allow any helmets other than horse back riding helmets such as ski, bike, or skateboarding.
Is there a weight maximum?
Nope! We do just ask that you inform us when making your reservation if you are over 200 lbs so we can provide the proper horse for you. As long as you can safely mount, balance, and dismount from the horse we got your covered!
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel most comfortable in! The only restrictions we have are no fanny packs, backpacks, camera or phone straps that go around your neck, or anything else that could get easily caught.
Does the weather affect the ability to go on a trail ride?
We go out rain or shine! Please make sure to check the weather when making your reservation since we do not allow same day cancelations and ask that any changes or cancelations need to made at least 24 hours prior to your reservation.
What if I lose something on a trail ride?
We always remind our customers to make sure there is nothing in their back pockets or other shallow pockets that may fall out during the ride. If you do not have deep enough pockets, the trail guide can always hold onto your phone for you! Unfortunately anything dropped during the ride cannot be guaranteed to be retrieved and the responsibility does not fall onto us.
What if we have last minute changes to the amount of riders in our group?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy and any changes to your reservation need to be made prior to that time frame. You are responsible for the payment of the amount of riders in your reservation, regardless of whether you show up with less people.
